Milwaukee, WI
MECCA Arena

"I've seen all good people...I just couldn't hear them"
Line up:
Jon Anderson
Chris Squire
Alan White
Trevor Rabin
Tony Kaye
Lineage:
Sony walkman recorder with stereo mics>soundforge to remove tape hiss>CD wave to split tracks>cd-r>eac extraction to wav>flac frontend level 8
Note:the mics were so close together there is basically no stereo separation.
Here is the Milwaukee show from '87 where the PA dies during All Good People and thus there is no roundabout encore.
There are plenty of technical glitches during the show...mics fading in/out...phantom guitar sounds but they seemed to get these under control during
the second half of the show until the PA died. I also remember Trevor forgetting the words during Changes and mumbling something in tune.
The recording:
Not too bad for a walkman. some bass is a bit distorted and there is a tape flip during And You and I (just before the Preacher/Teacher section) but no
singing is missing. Years ago when I put this on cd, I ran a light soundforge noise recduction to get rid of some of the tape hiss).
No artwork, so if someone wants to, feel free.
